Terms of Service
Last updated September 21, 2026
The short version
Use SnooCare for your own snooker and billiards, film only people who agree to it, and treat the scoring as an aid rather than a referee. Your games and videos stay yours. You buy a membership through the App Store and can stop whenever you like. If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to what you paid us.
Who we are and what this covers
These terms cover the SnooCare app for iPad and Mac, its companion apps for iPhone and Apple Watch, the member portal at snoocare.com, and the SnooCam camera software and add-on. SnooCare is developed and operated by Tovi Levis, an individual in Israel. Using any of them means you accept these terms. Questions go to support@snoocare.com.
Your account
A SnooCare account is created with Sign in with Apple and belongs to one person. Keep your Apple credentials safe, because anyone who can sign in as you can reach your games and videos. You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.
Scoring a game on your own iPad or Mac needs no account at all. The account is what stores and shares your games in the cloud.
Plans and payment
Memberships are bought through the App Store. Apple takes the payment, bills you and renews you under Apple's own terms, and we never see your payment details. Prices, renewal and cancellation are handled in your Apple account.
The Scorer tier is free and has no membership to buy. When a paid membership ends, your cloud files stay readable for a read-only period and are then deleted, as the privacy policy describes, so export anything you want to keep before it closes. Refunds are Apple's to give, and we cannot issue them.
Your content
Your videos, frames, scores, players and tables are yours. You give SnooCare only the permission it needs to store, process and deliver them: to your own signed-in devices, to you in the portal, and to the people you send a share link, a coach review or a club claim to. We claim nothing else and we do not sell or license your content.
We train on your footage only when you allow it, one game at a time, and you can withdraw that permission for a game whenever you like.
Acceptable use
Do not use SnooCare for anything unlawful, and do not film people who have not agreed to being filmed. You are responsible for holding the rights to whatever you stream, share or publish, including the venue's permission where it is needed.
Do not reverse engineer the app or its models, and do not attack, overload or abuse the service, the relay or other people's accounts.
Live streaming and other services
When you connect a YouTube channel or a Facebook Page, or stream to any other destination, you are bound by that service's terms as well as these: YouTube Terms of Service and Meta's Terms of Service. What those services do with your stream is between you and them.
A stream goes out at your direction, to the destination you chose. SnooCare does not review what you broadcast and is not responsible for what happens to it once it leaves your device.
Scoring assistance
Automatic scoring, assisted scoring, VAR and shot assist are aids. They read a camera and they can be wrong. The referee's call, or the players' agreement, governs the frame. SnooCare is not a certified officiating system and must not be used as the final word in a match where one is required.
Availability and changes
The service changes as it is developed, and it can be down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Features marked experimental may change or be withdrawn. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will say so before it takes effect wherever we reasonably can.
Ending it
You can stop using SnooCare at any time: cancel the membership in your Apple account and delete the SnooCare account from the portal or the app, as the privacy policy describes.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why and give you notice where the law requires it.
Disclaimers and liability
SnooCare is provided as is. We do not promise that scoring will be accurate, that a stream will hold, or that the service will be uninterrupted or free of faults.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for SnooCare in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost footage, lost matches or other indirect loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have jurisdiction. That does not take away any mandatory consumer rights you hold where you live.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised before the change takes effect.
